Join Us in Welcoming Dr. Michael David to The Team!

Cary-based Global Agricultural Development Corporation (Global Ag) is increasing its capabilities with the addition of Michael David, Ph.D., as the new Managing Director of Product Development. Global Ag has managed and reported thousands of studies over its 40-year history, supporting both large and small developers of new agricultural products. Global Ag has an extensive network of partner field and lab CROs, combined with an experienced in-house staff of study directors and project managers. Global Ag also partners with its sister company, iAdvantage Software, Inc. and its eStudy Platform, which is used by Global Ag and a wide international client base involved in ag product development and registration.

Michael David joins Global Ag after 24 years in large agricultural chemical organizations, including most recently more than 20 years at BASF in RTP. His expertise was developed from several roles including directing GLP regulatory studies, developing assays supporting new compound discovery, and leading teams in metabolism and insecticide screening labs. He is also an experienced project manager, directing multiple Phase 1 discovery projects for more than 10 years. After leaving BASF in mid-2023 Michael founded Quant-Agro LLC, which offers chemistry and pre-field biology support for early-phase ag product discovery through formulation performance assessments and evaluation of UV stability and metabolism of new agricultural products.

Global Ag offers the services of Quant-Agro, along with dozens of partner field and lab CROs across the US and the world. Global Ag offers complete study and product development packages in support of new agricultural product registration for a wide range of companies, including those developing chemical, biological, plant health, and biostimulant products.
